The Red Kettle Campaign
 |
Assist The Salvation Army in helping those in need by
participating in a Christmas tradition. Groups can adopt a kettle
for a half day, the whole season (7th of Nov. - Christmas) or
any amount of time in between. Signage is provided for groups who
ring. Contact Justin at 859-252-7706 or
jmullikin@salvationarmy-lex.org for more information
on how to organize bell ringers or click
here to view bell ringing dates
and get a volunteer form. |
You can help us build a Mountain of Love to feed hungry
families this Christmas. Non-perishable food such as potatoes,
stuffing, canned vegetables and fruit, dry milk, cranberry sauce,
desserts and boxed breads are needed. Donations may be dropped
off at Wal-Mart stores or at the Fayette Mall, Nov. 14 - Dec.7.
Monetary donations are used to purchase gift cards so families can
purchase meat, milk, eggs and other perishable items.
Donations may be sent to The Salvation Army, 736 W. Main St.,
Lexington, KY 40508 or made online (see the side bar).
