HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE

Services and programs are offered during the Holiday Season to ensure a happy Thanksgiving and Christmas for those who would not otherwise be able to provide for themselves and their families.

We offer the following Holiday programs:

  • Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Dinner - meals are open to the public, served in-house and delivered to the elderly, and homebound.

  • Mountain of Love - providing Christmas food baskets to those in need.

  • Angel Tree  - providing new gifts to children

  • Adopt-A-Family - provides gifts and food for an entire family.

  • Prisoner Toy Lift - new toys are sent anonymously to children of incarcerated parents.

  • League of Mercy - patients of nursing homes, hospitals and prisons receive a visit and gift.

We partner with area agencies, churches, businesses and individuals to ensure that no family goes without food and no child goes without a toy at Christmas.

The Salvation Army serves as the community agency clearing house.
